On the 10th of May, it is time for this year’s edition of the International Pharmacy Evening organized by FuG and the International Commission (IU) at the Pharmaceutical Student Union. This year, it will be held at UMC in Uppsala. Pharmacists from different parts of the world are participating in UMC’s international adverse drug reaction course, and we have taken the opportunity to invite some of them to present their experiences and work within this area in different countries. This is a unique opportunity to be inspired and gain insight into the pharmaceutical industry from a global perspective. The discussions afterwards with the large international crowd present are always very interesting! Of course, there will also be “fika” for sale, where all profits go to FuG’s work for everyone’s right to a good drug treatment.
Two speakers have now been established:
– Lourdes Jarquin, Coordinator at the National Pharmacovigilance Center in El Salvador. The title of the presentation is ‘Establishing a drug control authority in El Salvador – Past, present and future of safe and rational drug use.’
– Dajana Roshi, Pharmacovigilance Specialist at the National Agency for Drugs and Medical Devices in Albania. The presentation title is ‘Challenges in assuring safe and rational use of medicines in Albania’.
Time: 17.30, 10th of May, 2017.
Location: Uppsala Monitoring Center (UMC), Bredgränd 7B, 753 20 Uppsala
